(Practical Guide) The Path to Becoming a Good Malware Analyst

1- At the beginning of your career, you don’t need full certifications or unrealistic plans. (Focus on practical learning and avoid getting bogged down in unnecessary details at the beginning.)

2- The resources I have listed are well organized but not very diverse. You can add more resources, but focus only on what you need now, step by step. (Prioritize relevant learning and avoid overwhelming yourself with too many resources.)

3- Everyone has their own unique path to achieving their goal, but you need to define the goal before you start. This will make the journey shorter and deeper. I will give you an example to help you solve this dilemma.

Example: When someone asks you:

Outside your field: You tell them that you are a general cybersecurity engineer.

In your field: You specialize in cybersecurity in malware analysis, proficient in reverse engineering and x86 assembly language, with a focus on desktop
Applications.

Knowing exactly what you want to specialize in and being good at it will save you a lot of effort and time. After that, you can master other fields, even if they are not in the same subfield you started in.

I hope you understand this point well.
